"Fifteen EXCO members of the Lanka Japan Friendship Society lead by its President Mr. Sumana Liyanage visited the above hotel by coach, for their monthly EXCO meeting, as well as to spend the day, on invitation of Mr. Shelly Thenuwara, EXCO member and also Managing Director of the nature resort to celebrate his birthday. Some of the spouses of the EXCO members also joined the trip. The EXCO meeting was held in the hotel board room and after adjournment, the members were invited to the “Kospela”, a restaurant with a traditional Sri Lankan atmosphere where the members were able to unwind, relax and also join in singing and dancing with a 4 piece Calypso band in attendance. After a sumptuous buffet lunch the delegation set off for Colombo in the evening, after tea. The two previous LJFS EXCO dinner meetings were hosted by Mrs. Lalitha Rajapakse, Vice Patron at the “Peach Valley Chinese Restaurant” down Flower Rd, Col 7 on 10th June 2015 and by Mr. Harindra Rodrigo, EXCO member at the “Fortune Boat Restaurant”, Independence Ave, Col 7, on 8th July 2015. Both these meeting were well attended. In these instances too, the members Concerned celebrated their birthdays with the LJFS EXCO. We are thankful to all the 3 above members for their hospitality. "
